Wrapping Up Summer and Gearing Up for a Powerful New School Year!
As the final weeks of summer roll in, we’re filled with gratitude for the memories made and excitement for the new school year ahead at The STEAM Academy!
This summer, many of our students dove into science experiments, discovered new favorite books, and spent time exploring their creativity. Whether your family traveled, enjoyed staycations, or simply slowed down a bit, we hope it was a refreshing experience.
I hope your Fourth of July is filled with joy, togetherness, and a little sparkle! Whether you watch fireworks light up the sky or enjoy a quiet family time, holidays like these are a great reminder of the importance of community and celebration.

Hands-on STEM Projects: Get ready for even more invention and exploration in our labs and maker spaces.
Field Experiences: From nature trails to local museums, we’ll be expanding learning beyond the classroom.
Focus on Leadership and Life Skills: Your child will have plenty of opportunities to practice teamwork, communication, and self-direction.
Family Events: We’ll be hosting fun and educational events where families can connect and celebrate our students' brilliance.
Welcome, New Friends!
We’re thrilled to welcome two amazing students to our school family this year: Grayson and Gloria!
We can't wait to see the curiosity and energy they’ll bring to our community. Let’s show them just how warm and welcoming The STEAM Academy truly is.
Helping Your Child Transition Back to School
Start easing into routines now: consistent bedtimes and wake-up times can make mornings smoother.
Talk about what your child is excited (or nervous) about—it helps normalize those feelings.
Set small goals together: maybe it’s making a new friend or trying a new subject.
Let’s make this school year one to remember. Here’s to a joyful, creative, and empowering start. See you soon!
With gratitude,
Ms. Tracey & Ms. Katrena
